Chibi-Castform

I had originally intended for this story to be told via a comic, but I'm not so sure anymore. It may be more better suited to being a written story. With illustrations used throughout to give a visual representation.

I just started writing out one of the stories I had planned, and yea, the written story seemed to fit better with what I want to convey than what I had done with the comic so far.

So I'm not sure what I'll do. If I'll decide to do just the comic. Just the writing with illustrations, or a mixture of both? We'll see, I'll figure it out and have something produced soon. Hopefully

Also, I want to thank everyone who commented on the last journal! I'm glad to see there are people that are excited for this like I am! Thank you everyone!

Summary:

The continent of Rhen is an unforgiving and harsh world shaped by generations of legend and folklore. The Pokemon of Rhen live out there lives in one of the continents four regions: Tillia, the woodland region; Glacea, the tundra region; Runea, the desert region; and Aloea, the region that rests at Rhen's center. Many Pokemon chose to remain in civilized locations like cities or small settlements, but there are some that prefer the challenging task of living in the wilds. A choice which can prove to be fatal, as 'hunting' is lawful outside civilization. This story focuses on various Pokemon living throughout this world.

For any of you who may not know, for the last several months I have been working on a new project. A comic more specifically, one that I will hopefully have more content uploaded for soon. (I've already begun work on the first chapter)

It's because of this project that my entries for PMDUnity have ceased, and I want to say I'm sorry to those people who enjoyed my PMDu related art; also I want to apologize to anyone who was left wondering why I all of a sudden stopped participating. This is why.

I had participated in both PMDe and PMDu and while enjoyed the interaction in both those stories and the characters they introduced, I kept feeling like I didn't have the freedom I really wanted. I felt restricted, and didn't like it. Participating in the group quickly began to feel unsatisfying, which is no fault of the group or it's story. I just realized that what I needed to make my characters' stories interesting and fun in a way I enjoyed was to have complete control over the story. Which I cannot do in a group like PMDu.

So, I will no longer be participating in PMDu from now on. All my energy will instead be going into my own original story. If that is upsetting at all, I do have some good news:

All my personal characters introduced in my PMDu content will be in “The Fables of Rhen”. Some may not appear until later in the story, but each of them (Mia, Lucian, Colu, Chickpea, ect.) already has a defined role. So they all will appear at some point in time or another. For example, Colu definitely appears in Chapter 1, and Mia will likely appear in Chapter 2...

And that's all I have to say about that for now. I'll hopefully have some pages uploaded soon, and I'll keep going and working from there! Thank you for reading!

I've just been sick the last week or so, starting to feel a bit better now though, sort of. So hopefully I'll be a bit less inactive soon.

I have something to post today, but... I'll have to wait and see how long it takes me to post something else past that.
